Jobst Vascluar Symposium on Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

This symposium will provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive, evidence-based update on the prevention, assessment, and management of acute and chronic wounds, which affect approximately 6.5 million people in the United States. As the demand for wound care continues to rise due to an aging population and increasing rates of diabetes and obesity, clinicians must stay informed about evolving treatment strategies and best practices. Expert faculty will explore a wide range of topics, including advanced wound therapies and cellular, acellular, and matrix-like products (CAMPs), flap reconstruction, malignant and radiation wound management, limb preservation, venous leg ulcer treatment, vascular assessment and intervention, offloading techniques, bone biopsy procedures and infection management, wound culture interpretation, wound bed preparation, wound care product selection, nutritional considerations for healing, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Hands-on demonstration and case-based discussions will provide practical insights that participants can immediately apply to improve patient outcomes and advance wound care practices.
